College Life: Week #1

Well, I have been out of the nest now for almost one whole week! Are you proud? ;) This experience has been a lot of fun so far, even though I am NOT into a good routine yet. I am still in the shock period. Living on my own is so different. I miss things about my home that I didn't even realize I had when I lived there. But don't get me wrong, college is great! I am really enjoying my classes (I have only been going to class for two days... but still!). Homework is as busy as it was in high school, and I anticipate it only getting busier as the term goes on. I think my most difficult class is going to be Chemistry. My Professor expects a lot of her students...( I guess all of them do, but especially this one), which will require a great deal of work on my part. But I am accepting the challenge with high hopes of my potential success :) My roommates are a blast, I am really really lucky. We all get along really well, and we have a good time together! One of my roommates, Amanda, is at home with flu like symptoms at the moment. I am not going to lie, it is way scarier coming home to a sick roommate than a sick family member. I REALLY hope I don't catch whatever she seems to be experiencing.... So I am at the library :) And I don't anticipate spending a lot of time around her room for the next few days. I apologize for not having any pictures up yet. I realized once I got here that I don't have a card reader for my camera... so... I can't download pictures onto my computer. Hopefully I will be able to get one soon so that I can stay in touch with all of my fellow bloggers! Love you all!!
